Family, friends and community members are still searching for 25-year-old Jon "Jay" Franklin, who went missing Friday during a float trip on the Meramec River near Eureka--and are now expanding their search farther out.
"Keep the faith. More state [sic] troupers have shown up to continue the search. We have contacted the local flight school and air rescue group. We are spreading to towns farther down river. We will find Jon and bring him home," according to an update on the "Bring Jon Franklin Home" Facebook page Monday afternoon.
