A Valley Park man shot at his neighbor Saturday after the neighbor said he did not want the man at his wedding, St. Louis County Police said. Casey McBride, 23, of the 600 block of Leonard Drive in Valley Park, was charged Sunday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. The neighbor told St. Louis County Police that McBride was a family friend who had been at his house all day. While there, McBride finished a bottle of R&R whiskey and continued drinking beer. Later that evening, the neighbor said McBride told him about some active warrants for his arrest. The famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile made a visit to Fenton's Walmart today, September 9, from noon until 5 p.m. Its drivers handed out exclusive Wienermobile whistles, coupons and took free pictures of kids standing next to the giant hot dog shaped car. The Wienermobile is in the middle of a 75-city tour in honor of the vehicle's 75th anniversary. The Wienermobile is 27 feet long and weighs 7 tons—or the same as 140,500 hot dogs. We can thank the residents of Valley Park for the Wienermobile's visit. They won a Facebook contest last year to bring the Wienermobile to their town on its 75th anniversary tour.
