Northwest Library Sets December Programs for Teens
A wide range of events includes cookie exchange, art club, chess club and craft-making.
The Jefferson County Library, Northwest Branch, has planned a variety of events in December for teens, including: Teen Advisory Board Tuesday, Dec. 4, 7-7:30 p.m.: Ages 8-18. Cookie and Ornament Exchange Saturday, Dec. 8, 11 a.m.- noon: Bring a batch of homemade cookies, along with the recipe card, so others can try the recipe at home. Also, bring an ornament. If store-bought spend no more than $5, or make a handmade ornament. Sign up is required. Ages 8-18. Teen Art Club Tuesday, Dec. 11, 7 p.m.- 8 p.m.: A local artist will be teaching different forms of art, including anime, still life, and more. It is a beginner’s class.
