Fenton Government Set for Fresh Look After April City Elections

As many as five new faces could be seen on the Fenton Board of Aldermen, depending on the outcome of the municipal elections on Apr. 2, 2013.

The makeup of the City of Fenton legislative leadership could undergo a dramatic shift after next April's municipal elections as five aldermanic seats and the mayor's position are up for grabs in the Apr. 2 municipal election. At stake are two-year terms for in each aldermanic ward as the terms of Paul Seemayer (Ward 1), Joe Maurath (Ward 2), Chris Clauss (Ward 3) and Jim Mauller (Ward 4) are set to expire in April. In addition, a one-year term will be on the ballot in Ward 1 to fill the unexpired term of Alderman Jerry Sorge, who is moving from Fenton.
