The fulfillment of America's annual craving for Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies is about to be filled. Thin Mints lead the way in cookie sales for Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM). The familiar mint patties even outsell Oreos, according to the GSEM. In fact the GSEM says five of the top 10 cookies sold in the United States are Girl Scout Cookies. In addition to Thin Mints the top sellers also include Caramel deLites (also known as Samoas), Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and Shortbreads (also known as Trefoils).
