Creepyworld Has Jobs for Zombies, Opens Sept. 21

Summer is barely over and already the haunted house industry is preparing to scare the pants off thrill seekers in Fenton and the rest of the metro area.

  Fenton is the home of Creepyworld, an indoor-outdoor haunted attraction run by St. Louis based Halloween Productions. The "screampark" has nine different and unique haunts and claims to be the biggest haunted attraction in Missouri. Halloween Productions is co-owned by Jim Kelly and Larry Kirchner, who also own The Darkness in Soulard and The Haunting of Lemp Brewery, which is inside (and underneath) the actual historic brewery in St. Louis. Now Hiring Zombies and Other Scary Monsters If you want to join the actors who go bump in the night, auditions are being held on Sept. 11 and 14 (Tuesday and Friday) for Creepyworld at 6 p.m. at 1400 South Old Highway 141. Eeek, Drink and Be Merry

Halloween has crept up on New Year's Eve replacing it as the number one adult party. Since no one really outgrows Halloween, get into the spirit and stage a spooktacular throwdown.

From ghoulish themed adult dinners to relaxed zombie open house gatherings, Halloween is a good thing. Even Martha Stewart’s usual good things are taunted each October as wickedly bad.
