St. Louis County Police Fenton and West County Precincts to Co-Host Citizen Police Academy The St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct and West County Precinct is co-hosting a Citizen Police Academy at the West County Precinct, 232 Vance Road, Valley Park, next month. The classes will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on eight consecutive Wednesdays beginning Feb. 27, with graduation on Apr. 17. The academy also will include two field trips during the eight-week period. The suspect took a 32-inch TV off the shelf then exited the store making no attempt to pay. Investigation is ongoing. The suspect concealed merchandise then exited the store making no attempt to pay. The first clue that a man had been inhaling Ultra Duster was when police found him passed out in the woods on Sept. 14 with three cans of the compressed air product lying nearby, according to Police Officer Aaron Dilks of the St. Louis County Police Department's Fenton Precinct. The man ultimately was arrested for returning three times to Walmart, 953 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., Fenton, before he was finally able to steal two cans of Ultra Duster. For those familiar with huffing, Ultra Duster is a well-known source of a quick high. Its primary use is to clean dust and particles from computer keyboards and other electronic equipment. A female customer at Doctor John's, 645 Gravois Road, stole an employee's cell phone Sept. 8 from a store counter. The phone was tracked to a residence in Jefferson County using a GPS app. The woman admitted to stealing the phone and then throwing it into a lake after she realized it was being tracked. A man ate a plate of pancakes Aug. 15 at the International House of Pancakes, 110 Kate Lane, Fenton, then left the restaurant without paying. His license plate number was recorded as he drove off and officers located him at his house. He was arrested. Fenton police said a man attempted to "steal breakfast" Aug. 14 from Drury Inn, 1088 South Hwy. Drive. When officers approached, the man fled on foot and hid in some bushes. A man attempted to pay for his items at Gordman's, 687 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. on July 26 using three counterfeit $50 bills. He was arrested. A woman left her dog locked in her vehicle for thirty minutes July 23 in the parking lot of Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza. The vehicle’s windows were up and the outside temperature was 100 degrees. A summons was issued. Two juveniles concealed 21 pairs of Addidas socks in their purses July 23 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then left the store without paying.
