Weekly incidents investigated by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct
The following information was provided by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. Fenton police were investigating a pair of suspects in a vehicle May 9 in the parking lot of Walmart, 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., and as the officer was returning to the suspects' car, the passenger ran from the vehicle through heavy brush and into Fenton Creek. The man crossed the creek several times but eventually was captured. He told police "I used by brother's name, but the rest is right. Damn, I'm exhausted." Weekly incidents investigated by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct.
The following information was rported by the St. Louois County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A juvenile concealed a pair of shoes Apr. 29 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store without paying. He was charged with stealing and released to his guardian. Two people concealed clothing May 1 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store making no effort to pay. They were issued summonses. A woman concealed miscellaneous items in her purse May 4 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store without paying. She was arrested. Fenton Police Officer Aaron Dilks reports: "We have seen a slight increase of Identity thefts in the area. You should pay close attention to all purchases on your credit cards. Authorities aren't reporting any major problems on the roadways, but urge motorists to slow down and take it easy. Plus, here are a couple other weather-related notes.
Authorities say the roads in Fenton and High Ridge are OK, but they are urging motorists to take their time. "We had a couple minor accidents off 21, but other than that, nothing major," said Capt. Ron Arnhart, of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office. "Drivers just need to slow down and take it easy." Officer Aaron Dilks, of the St. Louis County Police Department's Fenton Precinct, said there were a couple minor incidents, but no major problems reported in the city of Fenton. In other weather-related news today, the Jefferson County Library will open at 10 a.m. due to inclement conditions. Also, there will be no Jeffco Express service today.

A man became upset March 15 when he arrived at McDonald's, 1867 Bowles Ave., and discovered it was closed for the night. He began banging on the front windows and drive-thru window, then started yelling at the employees still inside the restaurant. He was located by police at a nearby motel and when police asked if he was the man at the McDonald's, he said "Yeah, I was hungry and they are closed." The following information was reported by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A man complained about his burger March 3 at Hardees, 545 Gravois Rd., and was provided with a second hamburger, but he said it was the same "crappy thing." He was still upset when he left the restaurant and slammed the door closed, breaking the glass in the door.
