Flyers Hang Tough in 10-7 Season-Ending Loss at Parkway South

The Flyers maintained a 7-7 tie well into the 4th quarter, but fell with just a few minutes left in the game.

The score was supposed to be much more lopsided. They weren’t supposed to have the ball with two minutes left and a chance to win the game. But that’s where the Lindbergh Flyers found themselves Friday night in their district opener at Parkway South thanks to an impressive defensive effort that kept the underdogs in the game from start to finish. So when his offense couldn’t put together a game-winning drive and they suffered a heart-breaking 10-7 loss to end their season, Lindbergh coach Tom Beauchamp couldn’t find a negative thing to say.  “The kids came to play, they played their hearts out and gave it everything they had,” Beauchamp said. “I have no complaints or gripes.
