The Sunset Hills pub, best known for its fried pickles and connection to co-owner John Goodman, was in business under its original owners for 16 years. A representative for Kaplan Real Estate told Patch in July health issues played a factor in the family's decision to retire from the restaurant business. Greene assured the board that fried pickles will stay, though he's open to other menu suggestions.
