Lindbergh Soccer Seniors Sign to Play at College Level

Senior Soccer players will continue their sports career in college.

Three Lindbergh High School senior soccer players recently signed letters of intent Wednesday to play at the college level, including: Lucy Vogt, - Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL. Vogt will continue her soccer career at Western Illinois University in Macomb,  where she plans to major in athletic training. Lucy, daughter of Matt and Maggie Vogt, also participates in student council, National Honor Society, yearbook, Try-POD and the swim team. She will play soccer under the direction of Coach Ted Flogaites at WIU. Angela Black - Morehead State University, Morehead, KY. Black, daughter of Linda and Don Black, will head to Morehead State University  where she will major in sports management and play for the Eagles under the direction …

Letters Signed, Lindbergh Athletes Decide on College

High school football is over and these Lindbergh seniors look toward college play.

Their high school football career is finished, and now eight football players at Lindbergh High School have signed letters of intent to take their football talents to the college gridirons for the 2011-12 school year. The signees are: Coach Tom Beauchamp said he is proud of his senior class, which led the team to a 19-4 combined record over the last two years. “They’ve been a strong group for us,” Beauchamp said in a press release. “It’s great seeing such a wonderful group of guys going to play college football.” Lindbergh community relations director Beth Cross provided the details of the students who will be playing college football in the fall.
