Guns 'N Hoses: Fenton Firefighter to Compte in Annual Boxing Event
Tickets are on sale for the annual Budweiser Guns 'N Hoses boxing matches amongst area firefighters and police officers at Scottrade Center Nov. 21. Proceeds benefit The Backstoppers, a nonprofit that helps responders' families.
Budweiser Guns 'N Hoses features three-round boxing matches between local police officers and firefighters to raise money for The BackStoppers, Inc., an organization that provides immediate financial aid and long-term financial and other support to the families of emergency responders who lose their lives in the line of duty. This annual fundraiser is held in the Scottrade Center in downtown St. Louis on Thanksgiving Eve, which this year will be Nov. 21. Tickets are $20 and $30 each. The event starts at 7 p.m. Fenton firefighter Dan Oldenwald, is competing in the event with a bout against Daniel Book of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
