Police Chase Man Back and Forth Through Fenton Creek

Weekly incidents investigated by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct

The following information was provided by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. Fenton police were investigating a pair of suspects in a vehicle May 9 in the parking lot of Walmart, 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., and as the officer was returning to the suspects' car, the passenger ran from the vehicle through heavy brush and into Fenton Creek. The man crossed the creek several times but eventually was captured. He told police "I used by brother's name, but the rest is right. Damn, I'm exhausted." The man had multiple warrants for his arrest and was arrested. Shoes, Clothing, Etc. Nabbed from Fenton Kohl's

Weekly incidents investigated by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct.

The following information was rported by the St. Louois County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A juvenile concealed a pair of shoes Apr. 29 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store without paying. He was charged with stealing and released to his guardian. Two people concealed clothing May 1 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store making no effort to pay. They were issued summonses.  A woman concealed miscellaneous items in her purse May 4 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, and left the store without paying. She was arrested. Someone stole multiple items May 1 at Drury Inn, 1088 S. Hwy Drive. An investigation is ongoing. A man concealed alcohol May 4 at Petromart, 982 S. Hwy. Drive, and left the store …

Unattended Shopping Carts, Parked Vehicles Targeted by Thieves

Thefts were prevalent in the weekly incident report by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct.

The following informatiuon was reported by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct: A woman's purse was stolen from her unattended shopping cart Apr. 14 at Garden Ridge, 665 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. An investigation is ongoing. Someone stole the victim's black bag Apr. 15 at Lowe's, 1 Gravois Bluffs Circle, containing three signed blank checks from an unattended shopping cart. An investigation is ongoing. Someone broke into a vehicle Apr. 14 at the Great Escape Theater, 754 Gravois Bluffs Circle, in an effort to steal stereo equipment. Vehicle Break-Ins Reported Outside Great Escape Theater in Fenton

The incidents were among those reported by the the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct for the period ending April 13. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

A resident on San Sebastian Drive was the victim of identity theft. Fenton Police Officer Aaron Dilks reports: "We have seen a slight increase of Identity thefts in the area. You should pay close attention to all purchases on your credit cards. To ensure no fraudulent accounts have been opened in your name, you should take advantage of the once-a-year free credit report: www.annualcreditreport.com. For more information on preventing identity thefts, check out the St. Louis County online brochure." Late Night Trip to Closed McDonald's Sparks Tirade

The following information was reported by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A man became upset March 15 when he arrived at McDonald's, 1867 Bowles Ave., and discovered it was closed for the night. He began banging on the front windows and drive-thru window, then started yelling at the employees still inside the restaurant. He was located by police at a nearby motel and when police asked if he was the man at the McDonald's, he said "Yeah, I was hungry and they are closed." Man Admits Overreacting to 'Crappy' Burger, Waits for Police

The following information was reported by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A man complained about his burger March 3 at Hardees, 545 Gravois Rd., and was provided with a second hamburger, but he said it was the same "crappy thing." He was still upset when he left the restaurant and slammed the door closed, breaking the glass in the door.  He then threw his soda, which was in a plastic cup, at the building and it broke the window next to the door. Woman Caught Stealing Bras, Underwear at Kohl's

The following incidents were reported by the St. Louis County Police Department, Fenton Precinct. A woman concealed two bras and five pair of underwear in her purse Feb. 20 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then exited the store without paying. She was issued a summons. A woman left her keys in the ignition of her unlocked vehicle Feb. 17 at Garden Ridge, 665 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., and when she returned to the car, she discovered it had been stolen. It was recovered five hours later in Fenton. The suspected auto thief was arrested. A man concealed four knives and three packages of diabetic test strips Feb. 19 at Walmart, 953 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., then left the store without paying. He was issued a summons.
