Police Confirm Identity of Man Killed in Early Morning House Fire
The victim, who died in a two-alarm house fire in unincorporated Fenton, has been identified as 24-year-old Charles Odell.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department has confirmed the identity of a man found dead inside a burning home this morning in unincorporated Fenton. The 24-year-old man has been identified as Charles Odell, said Sheriff Glenn Boyer in a news release. The next of kin have been notified. Kelly Kinealy, a friend of Odell's mother, said she watched "Charlie" grow up. She told Patch Odell was a well liked, bright young man. "He will be missed by many," Kinealy said in a comment on an earlier story. "He was a bright and lovable young man. My heart is just sad. It's a sad, sad day."
