The burglary happened to a business on Gravois Road in Fenton.
The following information was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Questions about the report may be directed to ryan.martin@patch.com. Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department are investigating a case of second-degree burglary at a Fenton business. The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 23, according to video surveillance, police said. Two unidentified suspects entered the business on Gravois Road through the front door by using a key. They then stole between 10 to 15 cartons of cigarettes. An investigation revealed that a former employee failed to turn in a key in a timely manner, but she denies any involvement. The investigation is ongoing. Around 10 a.m. on Feb. 18, an unknown person stole two duffle bags containing CDs, earphones and other personal items from a home off of Old Highway 141 in Fenton. The victim later discovered two backpacks near his mailbox, which weren't there before he left his home. Police said the person also moved the TV from the entertainment center to the floor, where it was left. Officers dusted for fingerprints as evidence. Three Jefferson County men were charged with second-degree burglary in connection to the incident.
A High Ridge teenager is one of three men facing charges in connection to a home burglary in Arnold where junk food, jewelry and electronics were taken. Blake Young, 19, of the 4700 block of Wilbert Road has been charged with second-degree burglary. Two men from Imperial also have been charged: Brandon Rulo, 17, of the 4700 block of Kirchoff Lane and Nicholas Durbin, 20, of the 3700 block of Dennis Drive. On Nov. 4, the three men stole Hawaiian Punch, Doritos, Oatmeal Creme Pies, jewelry, watches, two remote control cars, a toolbox and television from a home in the 400 block of Oak Bridge Drive in Arnold, stated Jefferson County police in court documents. The following information was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Questions about the report may be directed to editor Ryan Martin at ryan.martin@patch.com. Police are investigating the theft of a trailer from High Ridge Boulevard. The trailer, which is valued at $2,500, was reported stolen sometime between 3 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 26, as noted in an incident report. It's described as a 1999 Hallmark box trailer measured at 16 feet by 7 feet. The trailer is white with Missouri license plates. An $800 king mattress, which was inside the trailer, also was stolen. Five suspects were arrested after a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department officer stopped them during a burglary in process at a home on Mary Drive in Fenton, police report. Opera glasses, costume jewelry and a ceramic figurine were among the items targeted by the suspects during the burglary. The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Dec. 23, according to a police report. The incident happened on Christmas Eve, FOX-2 reports.
A couple was assaulted in their home on Wild Valley Drive in High Ridge on Christmas Eve, Patch's news partner FOX-2 reported. A suspect was arrested in connection with the incident. Derrick Stewart, 34, was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, armed criminal action and kidnapping, FOX-2 reported. The full report is available on FOX-2's website. The following incident report was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Greenfield Manor Drive, Fenton The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary that happened in Fenton while the homeowner was away. The homeowner asked a friend to check his house, and on Dec. 6 the friend found a rear window broken. The homeowner waited until his return before contacting the sheriff. On Dec. 11 he reported that an air soft pistol had been moved and that a Remington 870 pump shot gun had been stolen. His PlayStation, a digital camera and about five dollars in change were also missing. A deputy dusted the air soft pistol for prints and was able to lift partial prints from both sides of the barrel.
