Winter Storm to Make Fenton, High Ridge Driving Hazardous
Christmas night storm to pack blustery winds and heavy snowfall at times
The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting a winter storm for Christmas night and into early Wednesday that will result in very hazardous travel conditions as strong winds and heavy snowfall is expected across the area before the storm system moves to the northeast into the Ohio valley. Overall, the NWS says snow is likely Christmas Day (a 70 percent chance) after 7pm. It will be a cloudy day with a low of 27. It also will be very blustery, with a northeast wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
