Fenton Man Airlifted to Mercy Hospital Following Car Crash Monday

The crash was handled by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

John E. Branch, 55, of Fenton, was listed in serious condition following a car crash Monday on Highway 50 in Franklin County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The MSHP report stated Branch was travelling westbound on Highway 50 when he attempted to overtake a vehicle driven by Stephanie J. Monzyk, 24, of Washington, MO. The report indicated that Branch's vehicle struck the side of Monzyk's vehicle as Monzyk was making a left turn. Branch was ejected from his 1993 Eagle Vision in the course of the crash and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur.

Two-Car Crash Sends 7 to Hospital Saturday

Seven people sustained moderate injuries and a trip to St. Anthony's Medical Center following a two-car crash at about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). According to the report, Melanie L. Cantrell, 35, of Fenton, was driving her 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant eastbound on Highway 30 when she changed lanes as she approached Delores Drive and her vehicle began to skid, striking a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by Rebecca Lynn-Peck, 56, of Fenton. Injured in the crash were Melanie Cantrell, and the occupants of her vehicle, including Briana Cantrell, 14, of Barnhart, Steven M. Knight, 25, of Fenton, Timothy M. Injuries Send Fenton Man, High Ridge 6-Year-Old to Hospital After Separate Car Crashes

The vehicle accidents were handled by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Fenton man and a six-year-old High Ridge boy were transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center with moderate injuries as the result of separate car crashes Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, six-year-old Nathan Moentmann, of High Ridge, was struck by a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Daniel Cushing, 29, of Hillsboro. Cushing was driving westbound on Thoreau Trail Drive when Nathan ran into the path of Cushing's vehicle, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The MSHP report stated Cushing swerved to avoid the boy but he was struck by the right side of the vehicle. Ballwin Woman Sent to Hospital Following One-Car Crash in Fenton

The crash occurred on Highway 141 near Schneider Drive, Fenton.

A Ballwin woman was hospitalized after her SUV ran off the road on Highway 141 in Fenton, spun around, struck a curb and overturned near Schneider Drive, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Janet Weinrich, 68, of Ballwin, was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center after the crash, with injuries described as moderate, according to the MSHP. The patrol report stated that Weinrich's 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was travelling southbound on Hwy. 141 at the time of the crash. Her vehicle was described as a total loss.

Fenton Woman, House Springs Man Injured in Car/Motorcycle Crash Saturday

A Fenton woman and a House Springs man were taken to the hospital following a car/motorcycle crash Saturday, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The accident occurred about 8 p.m. on Highway 30 at Industrial Drive, in northern Jefferson County, when Todd Canterberry, 48, of Cedar Hill, pulled his Chrevrolet Astro into the path of a Honda VTX motorcycle being driven by Jim Garber, 42, of Fenton, according to the MSHP. Misty Leigh, 35, of Fenton, was a rider on the motorcycle. Garber and Leigh sustained moderate injuries and were transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center for treatment, according to the MSHP report. The MSHP listed no injuries for Canterberry.

Fenton Man Seriously Injured in One-Car Crash

Payden Welker, 23, of Fenton, was seriously injured in a car crash Thursday on Sugar Creek Road, in High Ridge, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The MSHP, in it's report, said Welker was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on Old Sugar Creek Road, just north of Als Lane when he failed to notice a curve in the roadway. According to the MSHP, Welker overcorrected on the curve, drove off the left side of the roadway and overturned. He was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center with serious injuries. The Trailblazer was deemed "totalled."

Three-Car Crash Sends Two to Hospital

A three-car accident in High Ridge sent two people to the hospital Tuesday following an accident at Highway 30 and High Ridge Boulevard, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report. The MSHP report indicated Billie Hall, of House Springs, was attempting to make a left turn from eastbound Highway 30 onto northbound High Ridge Boulevard, travelling into the path of a 1999 Chevrolet S10 driven by Capri Gonzales, of House Springs. The impact pushed Hall's 2001 Subaru Forester into a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Jessie Patterson, of Dittmer, according to the MSHP. Both Hall and Gonzales were taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center with serious injuries, the MSHP report stated. All three vehicles were totalled in the …

High Ridge Teens Sent to Hospital Following Car Crash

Katrina Nunnery-Fullhart, 17 and Kristin Everhardt, 18, both of High Ridge, were hospitalized Jan. 4 following a car crash on West Four Ridge Road at Hope Lane in High Ridge, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). A MSHP report stated Nunnery-Fullhart was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cobalt on West Four Ridge Road at about 9 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve, travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Both she and her passenger, Everhardt, were transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center with moderate injuries. Both Nunnery-Fullhart and Everhardt were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Nunnery-Fullhart's vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

High Ridge Woman Sent to Hospital Following Car Crash

Wanda Horton, 68, of High Ridge, was moderately injured Jan. 3 in a one-car crash on Schumacher Road near Hidden Hollow Farm Road, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). According to the MSHP, Horton was travelling northbound on Schumacher Road at about 11:40 a.m. when her 2005 Honda CRV travelled off the north side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the MSHP report stated. Horton was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center with moderate injuries. Her vehicle was extensively damaged and was towed from the scene of the accident.

Head-On Coillision Sends High Ridge Man to Hospital

Brian F. Decker, 47, of High Ridge, was sent to the hospital with moderate injuries as the result of a head-on crash Monday on Greenwood Drive, north of Schumacher Rd. in High Ridge, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol  (MSHP). According to the MSHP, Decker's 2001 Ford F150 truck was struck head-on by a 2008 Ford Focus driven by Joe Brown, 32, of High Ridge. The report stated Brown's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve to the right on Greenwood Drive and crossed into the path of Decker's vehicle, striking it head-on. Both vehicles were totalled and Decker was sent to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur for his injuries. Brown was reported to have no injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts.
