Rallies Fall Short For Northwest In Volleyball Showdown Against Oakville
Northwest nearly comes all the way back in straight-set loss to first place Tigers.
CEDAR HILL – After taking it on the chin in its five previous matches, the Northwest High girls volleyball team knew it needed to play much better than it had been, heading into a Tuesday night home match against first place Oakville High. The Lions had been on quite a roll throughout most of September, with a five-match winning streak, which included a win over rival Rockwood Summit, and a sensational stretch of eight wins in 10 matches, they could count amongst their early season accomplishments.
