1011 Bowles Ave, Fenton, MO 63026

St. Louis CyberKnife treats several different types of malignant and benign tumors in the brain, spine, lung, liver,More pancreas, prostate, kidney and eye using CyberKnife® technology. The CyberKnife is an advanced robotic technology that provides stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy. During these procedures, precisely targeted, high-dose radiation beams are delivered to tumors throughout the body without sedation or incision while radiation exposure to healthy tissue around a tumor is minimized. CyberKnife treatment is painless and is completed in five or fewer procedures. Lung tumors, brain tumors and prostate cancer are frequently treated diseases. St. Louis CyberKnife is a service of SSM Cancer Care at St. Clare Health Center.

Established in 2012, St. Louis CyberKnife brings together experienced physicians and the latest medical advances to provide patients with exceptional care. The center’s doctors are board-certified in radiation oncology and have several areas of specialty, including head and neck cancers and prostate, lung and breast cancers. St. Louis CyberKnife’s nurse navigator is an integral part of the center’s patient care approach, providing clinical support and coordination of care for patients and their families. St. Louis CyberKnife utilizes the CyberKnife 9.0 system, which features a device that controls the width of the machine’s radiation beam, allowing clinicians to vary the beam size and treat a larger variety of tumors throughout the body. The capabilities of the more advanced technology allow for greater accuracy, quicker treatment times for patients and better avoidance of healthy tissue during treatment.
