5 Things to Know About This Year's Fenton Days Celebration

The day-long party in Olde Towne Fenton on Aug. 24 includes a parade, live music, food, games and fireworks.

Get excited for Fenton Days, coming to Old Towne Fenton this Saturday! Here's what you need to know to make the most of the day:

1. This year's celebration includes a parade: The 1.2‐mile route will begin at Fenton Park and end at Western Plaza, with up to 90 groups participating. The parade is slated to begin at 10 a.m.

2. Other Fenton Days festivities (including food, booths and games) begin at 11 a.m. and last until 9 p.m.

3. Kids can enjoy the Bubble Bus, Nitro Joe the Science Guy, SAMMY J Balloons and the Gypsy Rose Pirate Ship.

4. There are two bands set to play. Catch the Liquid Gold Band, performing 2-5 p.m., and Good Time Oldies Band from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
