Where to Buy Fireworks in Jefferson County

Fireworks can't be purchased or used in St. Louis County, but there are dozens of vendors in Jefferson County.

St. Louis County Police will be cracking down on the illegal sale and possession of fireworks this Fourth of July season. Fireworks violations will be a top focus for St. Louis County Police this Fourth of July weekend--especially after a consumer-grade firework exploded in the hand of a 10-year-old St. Louis boy last week, causing him to lose four fingers.

Fines--even for sparklers and magic snakes--range from $50 to $1,000.

However, the purchase of fireworks is still legal in Jefferson County, where approximately 30 vendors are registered to sell fireworks this year. The County has provided Patch with locations of those vendors, for residents who do plan to have their own displays:
