SSM St. Clare names new Vice President of Nursing/CNO

Wayne Laramie has been named the new Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for SSM St. Clare Health Center. Laramie also will serve as the Regional Coordinator of Emergency Services across SSM Health Care – St. Louis.

Laramie has 30 years of experience in health care. He joined SSM in 1993 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West as an ICU staff nurse and quickly worked his way up the nursing ladder as a Care Team Coordinator, Patient Care Manager, Nursing Supervisor and then to Clinical Director. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Emergency Services for the SSM St. Louis region.

As Vice President of Nursing/CNO, Laramie will be responsible for the operations and quality of patient care provided by inpatient nursing, emergency, operating room and respiratory care services at SSM St. Clare Health Center.
