SSM Breast Care welcomes Dr. Pamela Bunting

SSM Breast Care is pleased to announce that breast surgeon Pamela Bunting, DO, has joined SSM Medical Group – Surgical Arts at SSM St. Clare Health Center and SSM DePaul Health Center.

Dr. Bunting manages all types of breast disease, both benign and malignant, including new breast masses, nipple discharge, breast pain, breast cancer and abnormal mammograms. In addition, she also offers consultations for high-risk patients, such as those with a family history of breast cancer or prior breast biopsies showing atypical findings.

She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She then completed a one-year general surgery internship and a four-year general surgery residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. After her residency, Dr. Bunting completed her breast surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Jewish Hospital.
