More Than 100 Kids Take Part in MoCHIP Program

More than 100 children are safer today thanks to the Missouri Child Identification and Protection Program (MoCHIP) held March 1 at SSM St. Clare Health Center.

MoCHIP is a comprehensive child identification program designed to give Missouri families a measure of protection against the ever increasing problem of missing and abducted children. Each participant received a mini DVD containing the personal data of the child and emergency contacts, three digital photos, digital fingerprints, a dental impression on a bite wafer, which provides a DNA sample and scent for canine searches, and instructions for child identification and protection.

The program at SSM St. Clare was sponsored by the St. Clare Health Center Auxiliary, the Missouri Children’s Foundation and Fenton Lodge #281.
