WHAT: The SSM Heart Institute is presenting a unique opportunity for those with heart valve disease or disorders to discuss treatment options over dinner with one of the region’s leading heart specialists.
Cardiothoracic surgeon Seiichi Noda, MD, of SSM Heart Institute at St. Clare Health Center will explain what causes heart valves to fail and why it’s critical to manage and treat valve problems for long-term health.
Guests will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions about treatment options. This event will be of special interest if you or family members have been diagnosed with heart valve disease.

WHO: Seiichi Noda, MD, FACS, earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Noda is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He spent a year as an instructor of surgery at Harvard Medical School.
