6 Local Places to Watch the Big Games

Big screens, baseball on tap in Fenton and High Ridge as the Cardinals remain in playoff action.

1630 Gravois Road, High Ridge, has its 12 TV screens ready for an influx of Crdinals fans as they battle the Philadelphia Phillies for the National League pennant. The eatery also has its food and drink specials ready to go, as well as its full menu, although it is featuring $5 pizzas and $5 pitchers of beer during the games today and Wednesday.

Cardinals success is more than just a dream for the baseball fan, it's factor in October success of local pubs as thirsty and hungry sports fans look for a place to watch the games.

, 701 Rudder Road, Fenton, for example will feature $12 buckets of beer and $5 pitchers during as its six TV screens show all the baseball action.

Marty's Bistro, 3367 High Ridge Blvd., High Ridge, is cranking up the wings for the Cardinals playoff run. The eatery will feature 50 wings and a pitcher of Bud Light or Busch beer for $29.95 as the game plays on the bistro's four screens.

, 42 Gravois Road, Fenton, will have its happy hour specials in effect during the Cardinals broadcasts, which include $1.25 draft beers and $2 longnecks. Five TV screen will show all the playoff action.

Poor Richard's Restaurant and Sports Club, 960 Brookwood Center, Fenton, will fire up seven TV screens and will feature $1 draft beers and $2.25 bottles for the games.

, 3025 High Ridge Blvd., High Ridge, is offering $12 buckets of beer (6 bottles) a 14-inch two-topping pizza for $9.99 and a wing special that includes an order of wings and a pitcher of beer for $12. Peggs has six TV screens to show the Cardinals in action.
