Why Don't These Pom Pon Uniforms Match?

The opening of the "Chalkboards to Computers" exhibit put together by students from Truman Elementary School students drew crowds Saturday at the Missouri History Museum.

This week we make a departure from the usual Whiz Kid format in order to recognize the efforts of a group of students who successfully completed a year-long project.

Whiz Kid(s): The Truman Elementary School Fourth Grade class.

Accomplishments: Coordinating, organizing and preparing an exhibit called "Chalkboards to Computers," a curated exhibit on display atthe History Museum through July.

Members of Lindbergh High Schools Pom Pon team performed at the opening of the exhibit Chalkboards to Computers at the Missouri History Museum Saturday. Each one wore a uniform from a different time period in the history of the school.

The museum exhibit was a retrospective of Truman school over its five decades. The student-generated exhibit runs until July 10 after opening to much fanfare.
