Parent, Student Orientation Set Thursday at Rockwood Middle
Teachers will be available to explain expectations for the new school year.
The Rockwood School District has set up an open house and orientation for 6th Grade students and their families at from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the school at 1628 Hawkins Road, Fenton.
During the event, students will have their pictures taken, pick up their schedules and be able to meet some new friends. To help students transition to their new school, 6th Grade teachers will meet with families, explain class expectations and share tips on how to succeed in middle school.
