Northwest Schools To Host Kick It 5K Run

The Boys and Girls soccer program in the Northwest School District is hosting the 2nd Annual Northwest Soccer "Kick It" 5K on Apr. 20. The community is invited to support Northwest student athletes by participating in the run. Participants should check in at 7:30 a.m. Apr. 20. The event begins at 8 a.m. at the Valley Middle School, 4300 Gravois Road, House Springs. The cost of participation is $25. Runners registered before Apr. are  guaranteed a T-shirt.

Medals will be given to the top three male and top three female participants. The waiver and registration form are required. Last year there were about 200 runners participating in the event.

The school district bills the event as a walk-run-crawl-finish-by-any-means-necessary 5K.
