Northwest R-1 Sets Kindergarten Registration

If your child will be at least 5 years old before August 1, 2013, he or she is eligible for all-day kindergarten in the Northwest School District for the 2013-2014 school year. Registration is at any neighborhood elementary school The district is encouraging parents to register during a two-day enrollment period from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 26 and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Feb. 27.  

If the school district is closed on either day due to inclement weather, the registration will be canceled and rescheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. March 5.
