Northwest Lions Rained Out Friday Night

The Friday night varsity football game was postponed due to thunderstorms.

Lightening and pouring rain Friday night caused school officials to postpone the varsity football game between Northwest and Fox high schools. 

The game will be replayed Saturday night, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Fox High School in Arnold.

The players never took the field and a dozen or so fans huddled in rain ponchos under the stands. More waited out the rain in their cars. The game was called due to lightening by 7:15 p.m.
