Northwest HS to Host Financial Aid Dinner Meeting

Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be explained.

Northwest High School has scheduled a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Night at 7 p.m. Jan. 24. in the Lecture Hall at the high school for all college bound seniors and their parents or guardians.

The FAFSA is the first step seniors need to take in the financial aid process to pay for post secondary education. By filling out the FAFSA online application, students can apply for various forms of financial aid for college – such as the Pell Grant, student loans and college work-study. Most states and schools use FAFSA information to award their own financial aid. In addition, students who plan to receive A+ Program assistance are required to submit a FAFSA application.

Dinner will be provided at the meeting.
