Marching Band Gives Rush Hour Concert

The Silver Falcons high school marching band gave a free concert in Fenton's Burger King parking lot.

The Silver Falcon Marching Band played for family and friends—and anyone else driving by the intersection of Highway 141 and Bowles—on Wednesday evening.

The event was part of a fundraiser held by its sponsor, the  in Fenton, which donated 10 percent of all sales from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to the band.

"We started by sponsoring the baseball team last year," said Bridget Mann, Burger King's restaurant manager. "I've got a lot of band kids who work here," she said about the decision to sponsor the marching band as well. "We'll do another one this spring."
