This year’s Shootout features local rivalries and games sure to showcase great basketball, including the final two games of the event - matchups between Roxana and Marquette, and Christian Brothers College and Henry Clay.

Roxana ended the 2011-12 season 22-9 and has 6-foot-9 Division I recruit Hunter Reine. Reine led the St. Louis area in rebounds and was named the 2011-12 Small-Schools Boys Basketball Player of the Year.  Marquette ended the 2011-12 season 28-3, sixth in the state, and have seven of its top eight players coming back.

Henry Clay out of Kentucky will face off against CBC and boasts six Kentucky state championships out of 26 appearances.  Six of its top eight players are coming back, with its top three recruited across the nation.  Coach Bobby McCormack of CBC has eight returning players of which three are Division I recruits, and the school has won five state titles out of seven appearances.
