Lindbergh School Board Makes the Top Ten

Missouri School Board Association, which represents 522 schools statewide, will honor the Lindbergh board at a leadership conference this month.

The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education has been chosen as one of only 10 school boards statewide to receive the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA) 2011 Leadership Team Award, according to a news release from the district.

The MSBA recognized the Lindbergh board for its outstanding commitment to professional development, statewide leadership and participation in legislative advocacy. It was chosen from among 522 public school districts in Missouri, based on the following characteristics:

  • All seven board members have obtained Essential certification from MSBA
  • At least two members have earned Advanced certification
  • At least one member has Master’s level certification, MSBA’s highest level of distinction
  •  Participation in MSBA events throughout the year

The Board of Education will be honored at MSBA’s Leadership Summit this month.
