Lindbergh Junior Football Teams Thrived in 2012

Sixth and Seventh grade teams were undefeated in regular season; defenses were stingy.

The Lindbergh Football Association's Junior Flyers recently finished their seasons with winning records all around.

The sixth grade team boasted an undefeated 8-0 regular season record, allowing only 22 points to be scored against it all season. The Flyers gave up one victory in postseason play against Francis Howell.

Seventh-graders were just as golden, with a 9-0 undefeated record in regular and postseason play. This team allowed only 33 points scored against it all season.

And finally, the eighth grade team fought hard and overcame many injuries to bring home a winning 5-3 record for the regular season.

“Our football program is alive and well, and on the path to continued success!” said Donna McNamara, president of the Lindbergh Football Association.
