League of Women Voters Sponsoring Rockwood Candidates Forum

Rockwood School District board of education will have two of its seats determined in the April 3 elections.

Fenton area residents with interest the Rockwood School District Board of Education elections will have the opportunity to hear firsthand from Rockwood election candidates at a forum early next month, district officials announced this week.

The event is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis, and will include four candidates competing for two open seats on the board. Incumbent Peggy Devoy and recently-appointed incumbent Geoff Rigabar both indicated they would not be seeking election this spring.

  • William Brown of Eureka
  • Sherri Rogers of Chesterfield
  • Victor Hieken of Ellisville
  • Jennifer Kelly of Chesterfield

In addition to questions developed by the League of Women Voters, those in attendance will have the opportunity to pose their own questions to the candidates.

The forum will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at Crestview Middle School in Ellisville. Elections will take place Tuesday, April 3.
