Fenton Student Named to Mizzou '39 Society

Senior Hannah Schillinger has excelled academically and personally at the university.

Hannah Schillinger, Fenton, recently was named to the University of Missouri’s elite Mizzou ‘39, a society that consists of students who have excelled both academically and personally.  Schillinger is a senior majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Carl and April Schillinger and a graduate of Rockwood Summit High School.

In the spirit of service modeled by the founding families that made possible the 1839 founding of the University of Missouri, the Mizzou Alumni Association and Alumni Association Student Board annually recognize 39 outstanding seniors for their academic achievement, leadership and service to the University and community, according to a university news release. Students selected for the honor represent the top of their graduating classes.

Students are selected through a rigorous selection process that includes applications and interviews with Mizzou faculty, staff and alumni. This year marks the 173rd anniversary of the founding of the University of Missouri.
