Learning to Listen-Helping Those in Crisis

Have you ever been in a crisis situation and did not know what to do or how to react?  Have you ever had to face someone who was threatening violence or in a rage?  Learn how to help those going through difficult times in this free class given by Rev. Scott Doby.  Rev. Doby currently Scott serves as a Wing Chaplain for the 131 Fighter Wing in the Missouri Air National Guard. 

His military assignments include seven years in the Alabama National Guard as a Flight Medic with the 1133rd Air Ambulance Company and duty with the 1156th Criminal Investigation Detachment.  He also served four years with the Army Reserve as a Chaplain Candidate.  Scott was assigned to the Charles Melvin Price Support Center as the Army Chaplain for the Greater St. Louis Area, from June of 1996 to June of 2000.  From July 2000 to February 2004 he served as the Battalion Chaplain for the 175th Military Police Battalion in the Missouri Army National Guard.  Scott has been awarded the Federal Executive Board's Excellence in Government Award for his work in crisis counseling.
