This year, the country recognizes the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, providing an opportunity to reflect on this event in our nation and local battle, the Battle of Big River Bridge.

Join Carole Goggin, local researcher and speaker, in a  discuss the Battle that took place in October of 1861. The presentation is based on the book, The Battle of Blackwell written by John H. Hollingsworth.
