Brennan Woods Elementary and Maple Grove Elementary are the latest recipients of Leader In Me grants from the I Am A Leader Foundation, the Northwest School District announced on their website.
The I Am A Leader Foundation is "dedicated to providing programs and services that build students' character and leadership in elementary schools around the world," according to the foundation website.
The Leader in Me program is "a leadership development process based on the life-work and research of the late Dr. Stephen R. Covey and his renowned book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
The Leader In Me program will begin at the schools in August, according to the school district website.
