MOMS Club® holds first Monthly Meetup to support local moms and children

New MOMS Club® holds first monthly meeting

The new chapter of the International MOMS Club® for West County moms held its first Monthly Meetup on Friday at the Manchester United Methodist Church.

More than 10 moms attended with their children and several were new members who had never attended a MOMS Club event before.

The MOMS Club of St. Louis County - West is a growing group catering to stay-at-home moms and moms that work part time throughout Valley Park, Fenton, Ballwin, Manchester, Eureka, Wildwood and Chesterfield. The members get together for playdates throughout the area several times per week and moms can attend as many events as they want for a $20 annual fee. These club dues cover administration costs.

The Monthly Meetup is held once a month as a way for all members to get together and discuss club business. At Friday's meeting, members decided to start a "Meals for Moms" program where they will provide meals to members when they welcome a new baby or have a serious illness in their family.

The next Monthly Meetup will be held at a new location, most likely the Faith Church in Fenton. Stay tuned!
