PSC to Hold Local Public Hearings in St. Louis, Kirkwood and Crystal City in Laclede Gas Company Rate Case

The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings on June 3 and June 4 in a natural gas rate case filed by Laclede Gas Company. The local public hearing schedule appears below.

June 3, 2013—St. Louis. University of Missouri-St. Louis, Millennium Student Center, Century Rooms A & B, One University Drive. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 12:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.

June 3, 2013—St. Louis. Harris-Stowe State University, Emerson Performance Center, Bank of America Theater, 3101 Laclede Ave. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.

June 4, 2013—Kirkwood. St. Louis Community College, Meramec Campus, Business Administration Bldg., Room 105, 11333 Big Bend Blvd. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 12:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.

June 4, 2013—Crystal City.
Crystal City High School Auditorium, 1100 Mississippi Ave. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.

On May 20, 2013, a joint motion was filed by Laclede Gas Company, the Public Service Commission Staff and the Office of the Public Counsel indicating that the parties had reached an agreement in principle which would resolve all issues in the rate case. Parties indicated that they expect to file a formal agreement with the Commission or an update of when they expect to file the formal agreement by June 3. The Public Service Commission has not decided this case. As part of the May 20 filing, the parties asked that the Commission hold all local public hearings as previously scheduled.

Laclede Gas Company provides natural gas service to approximately 628,500 customers in the City of St. Louis as well as the Missouri counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Butler, Iron, Franklin, Jefferson, Madison, Crawford, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve.
