Farmers Market Joy

If you are looking for great fresh food and a fun atmosphere, look no further than local Farmer’s Markets.  We have fantastic markets both in Arnold and Fenton.  My family and I have made visits to local Farmer’s Markets part of our summer Saturday routine.  Many of the items offered at these markets cannot be found anywhere else, and the prices and freshness of local produce cannot be beat.

Last Saturday, I was able to hobnob with local business owners, Mayor Ron Counts and even Judge Troy Cardona during the peach pie contest at the Arnold Farmer’s Market.

At the Fenton Farmer’s Market, I visited with local farmers and was treated to samples of locally made veggie spices. Yum.

The end of summer will bring the end of local Farmer’s Markets.  If you haven’t had a chance to visit our local Farmer’s Markets, I encourage you to plan a summer trip in the coming weekends.  Local tomatoes, corn and peaches are divine this year.  Indulge while you can.
