MOPERM Refunds nearly $35,000 to County Budget

March 23, 2012, the County Council was visited by MOPERM insurance representatives. Because of our low payout rates for the past year, Jefferson County earned a refund of $34,922.

On March 23, 2012, the County Council was pleased to be visited by MOPERM insurance representatives.  It seems that because of our low payout rates for the past year, Jefferson County earned a refund of $34,922.

Since we began working with MOPERM, the County has received over $594,000 total in refunds, which is about 10% of paid premiums over the same time period.

This is just one more way that the responsible members of your local government are doing what they can to save taxpayer dollars while providing services to the residents of our great county.
