KKK President Says Group Was Asked to Visit Arnold

Arnold officials last week agreed to allow the Ku Klux Klan to place flyers on vehicles in spite of the city's law banning the practice. The threat of a lawsuit is what swayed the council's decision.

Imperial Wizard/President Frank Ancona, of the Traditionalist American Knights Ku Klux Klan based in Park Hills, MO, said his group was asked to come to Arnold.

"Sometimes we get requests from residents and members in the area because of drug or crime problems," he said. "I believe the Arnold request was made because of a crime against a child in that town. The Klan has a severe issue with crimes against children."

Ancona said the group, based in Park Hills, MO, recently conducted a drive in Desoto, Mo, because someone had requested its presence because of another reported crime against a child. He added that the group also gets frequent calls regarding drug problems in communities.

"We want the local people to know we're keeping an eye out for these crimes," he said. "We hate these drugs and what they are doing to our children. We do not hate other races, but we look out for our family."

Ancona said the group had planned on conducting a drive in Arnold this past weekend, but members decided to reschedule the visit because of the city's ordinance banning the placement of flyers on vehicles.

On Thursday, the Arnold City Council agreed to allow the KKK to place flyers on vehicles in spite of the city's law banning the practice. The American Civil Liberties Union—on behalf of the KKK—served the city an injunction requesting that it rescind the ordinance to allow KKK members to place literature on vehicles without penalty.

Rather than challenging the action, which could have resulted in a lawsuit, the council agreed the city would not enforce its law against KKK members until the measure can be amended.

Bill, I agree with your comment that "they are also entitled to the freedoms we all do enjoy regardless of how we feel about an individual's or group's choice of how that freedom is expressed." Nicely said. Honestly, I didn't even know the group still existed before Thursday's meeting, and I doubt many residents did either.

Arnold has a very oppressive, greedy and 'busy-body' government and should stay out of US citizens business. I would NEVER live within Arnold city limits. Wonder if the Klan leader got out of Arnold w/o some type of traffic violation? If so, that's what this article should be about. That would almost be a miracle in and of itself.

Have you ever tried to sell a home on Arnold? I will never live there again as it costs us a fortune just to sell our home and bring it up to Arnolds ridiculous, outrageous codes. And yes the home was safe to move into. Arnold just kept wanting us to pay for them to inspect the home, and it had to be Arnold(no independant inspectors)!!!! Also, Arnold TAXES are higher than surrounding areas, Really, Arnold is NOT Frontenac or Chesterfield!!!

For any one interested, this very offensive cross burning photo that was cut and paste from the KKK's website, was removed from their Facebook page by the Facebook monitors for being offensive. This would suggest that the Patch should be more sensitive and conscientious to their readers.sense of moral decency..

If any group deserves the benefit of the fought, is the KKK! , they do not practice censorship like ZOG controlled media and only want to preserve family, church, dignity and a social Christian conscience, which is the opposite of generation X, and special interest groups!
