D.J. Cully to Challenge Renee Reuter in Jefferson County Council's 2nd District

Fenton-area resident files for position to be decided in the Aug. 7 primary election.

Dean J. (D.J.) Cully, of unincorporated northern Jefferson County, announced his candidacy and filed for the Aug. primary election for the 2nd District County Council position currently held by Renee Reuter, who is seeking reelection. The 2nd county council district includes parts of Arnold and Jefferson County parts of the Fenton area.

A long time resident and family man, Cully says he is a true conservative and a man of his word. Cully lives with his wife, Kristen, and daughters Kayla, 7, and Taylor, 5.  Cully's oldest daughter, Rebecca, is a corporal in the United States Marine Corp, stationed in Cherry Point N.C.

Cully is a systems administrator for systems administrator for Gateway EDI.

    “Twelve years ago, my wife and I chose Jefferson County to be our home; it was one of the best choices we have ever made," Cully said.  "Now, I want to help bring pride and prosperity back to Jefferson County.”
