Chief, Jasmine, Chelsea, Mandarin Seeking New Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Chief is a nice 7-year-old Lab/Basset mix. He gets along well with other dogs, but would be best in a cat-free home. He is housebroken and he knows a few simple commands. Chief does not get along well with young children, he feels that he should be your only "baby". He really likes having a routine so having a family with an established routine would be ideal for him. Chief loves to be petted but he is not really big on being held and squeezed. If you have a quiet and loving home to offer this 50 lb. lovebug, please come meet Chief.

Jasmine is a friendly 4-year-old mixed breed. She is a fun girl that gets along with other dogs. She loves to run and play in the yards with her friends. She needs a little obedience training, but she is a very intelligent girl that catches on very quickly. She has already learned how to sit, she'll just need a little work on the rest of the commands. She is a very strong girl that needs an experienced dog owner. Small kids would probably not be the best for her as she is so energetic. Jasmine would love to meet you and make you fall in love with her.

Chelsea is a 5-year-old calico/tabby. She is a sweet girl that has been trying for years to find a home. Chelsea is full of spunk and personality, there will never be a dull moment with her around. Chelsea is a playful and intelligent and loves to be petted. She really likes to be scratched behind her ears. This poor girl has been waiting for a home for almost 4 years. If you'd like to really make a difference in a cat's life, please come and meet Chelsea.

Mandarin is a great guy that is nearly a year old now, he has grown up at the shelter. He is a very active boy that loves to wrestle and run around with the other cats. Mandarin loves toys of all kinds, but if he can't find one, he'll make his own. That playfulness also has a good mix of loving thrown in with it. He loves to be picked up and held, he even gives you hugs. If you are looking for a big smile, adopt Mandarin and smile all the time.
