Woman Loses Wallet in Parking Lot, Identity Thief Shops Local

Even locked cars are subject to recent parking lot thefts, according to recent crime reports from the Fenton precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department.

July 16: Several items were taken from a locked vehicle on San Sebastian after an unknown suspect popped the lock. Police are still investigating the incident.

July 16: Multiple items were taken from two cars in the Modern Communications parking lot, 1231 Horan. An unknown suspect popped the locks to gain access, according to police.

July 16: Items were taken from several vehicles parked at Drury Inn, 1088 South Hwy Dr. The thief popped the locks on locked vehicles to gain access.

July 17: A man who stole change from an unlocked vehicle in the Walmart parking lot was taken into custody.

July 18: A woman who dropped her wallet in the Quiktrip parking lot, 1923 Bowles, found someone had already made $3,000 in charges at Gravois Bluffs stores. Police are still investigating the incident.
