Firefighter Team Places Second in Master the Met Race

The five-member team, which included Colin Pstrick from the Fenton Fire Protection District, raced up the 42-story Metropolitan Square Building to raise money for the American Lung Association.

The Webster Groves Firefighter Association won a second-place award in the recent Master the Met: Fight for Air Climb.  

The five-person team raced up the 42-story Metropolitan Square Building competing against other fire department teams. It took second place in the "First Responders – Full Gear" division.

The team raised $805 for the American Lung Association. The funds will support life-saving, lung-related education programs, advocacy and research for chronic lung disease and breathing problems.
